Our restaurant and bar are currently undergoing a full renovation with brand new equipment and furniture while also restoring the architecture and design of the original building. We are excited to share the historic dining experience with our guests when the restaurant and bar open in the beginning of August. Check the website soon for our menu and booking options!
About the Restaurant
At Söderfors Herrgård Dining & Lounge, our menu is meticulously curated among skilled chefs. Our commitment to sustainability and quality is reflected in our choice of ingredients. We source fresh, locally grown produce, emphasizing flavors that are both intense and authentic. Our dishes offer a contemporary interpretation of the traditional cuisine from northern Uppland, prepared from scratch in our state-of-the-art kitchen.
In our dining room you will find a modern Swedish menu featuring the finest meat, poultry, and fish from Uppland. However, it is our vegetables that truly take center stage, complemented by herbs grown and harvested right outside our door. We also boast a unique and well-balanced wine list, along with a wide selection of handcrafted non-alcoholic beverages.
Overlooking the serene lake, our bar offers a delightful menu of drinks and dishes infused with herbs, flowers, and local ingredients. Collaborating with local farmers and producers, we create innovative and visually stunning dishes. Our in-house smokehouse and grill, as well as our bakery, ensure that every bite is rich with warm, homemade flavors.
We also host special activities such as cooking classes, wine tastings, cheese tastings, and drink mixing sessions, perfect for making your visit even more memorable.
