General Terms
Welcome to Söderfors Herrgård! We look forward to providing you with exceptional service. The following terms and conditions govern your stay at our hotel, Söderfors Resort & Spa AB (org. no. 559448-9311). Unless a separate agreement has been agreed upon in writing from the hotel, the following rules apply.
Booking and Confirmation
A booking is binding as soon as it has been confirmed and you have received a reservation number. This can be done orally, in writing or via our reservation system. When booking, you are required to state your name, address, arrival and departure time, and how payment is to be made. Different rules may apply to different pricing categories. See your reservation details for more information.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age to book a room at Söderfors Herrgård. A person who books a room for a minor is responsible for the room and reservation regardless of if they accompany the minor or not.
Non-Registerted Guests
For the safety of our guests we only allow registered guests and our employees to enter hotel rooms or other areas with restricted access to the public.
Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that does not disturb the enjoyment of other guests. The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or evict a guest without a refund if their behavior is deemed inappropriate
Child Policy
Children 0 to 3 years of age can stay free of charge if sleeping in the same bed as an adult or if sleeping arrangements are provided by the guest. Special rates apply for children 4 to 12 years old.
Cancellations and No-Shows
The cancellation terms can vary depending on the rate plan chosen with your reservation. Please read the detailed pricing information carefully. Unless otherwise agreed upon with the hotel, or if otherwise defied by your rate plan, cancellation must be made no later than 6 pm prior to your day of arrival. If you booked through an online travel agency such as Booking or Expedia, the cancellation must be processed through them. No-shows and late cancellations will be charged a one night cancellation fee.
Arrival and Departure
Your hotel room will be ready at 3 pm on your arrival day. Check-out time is no later than 11 am on your departure day.
While we do our best to accommodate special requests for modified check-in and check-out times, we cannot guarantee that we can satisfy all requests.
Early Departures and Extending Stays
If you must depart before your full length of stay please inform the reception. This may result in price adjustments. If you wish to extend your stay at the hotel you must notify us no later than 6 pm the day before your scheduled departure day.
Room Unavailability
If the hotel cannot provide you with the same room from your initial reservation, you have the right to receive an equivalent or upgraded room at the hotel at no additional cost.
Payments
For some rate plans there may be a prepayment requirement which will be detailed when you make your reservation. This prepayment will be applied to your final bill or any cancellation/no-show fees that may be incurred. Unless otherwise agreed upon with the hotel, the hotel bill must be paid when you receive it, which will generally be upon reservation or upon arrival at the hotel. The hotel accepts most common credit cards and Swish, however the hotel is not obligated to accept credit cards, checks, vouchers, for foreign currency if the hotel has not offered to do so.
